‘Fun with Kim’ Photo Caption Contest – Posthumous Edition

A while back we were running an ongoing photo caption contest with those surreal state-sponsored photos of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Il looking at things. It seems fitting to hold one last contest to honor the man who did not poop or pee (true fact!). The photos below were among the last public photos taken of Kim Jong-Il; according to the the South Korean newspaper Chonsun Ilbo, they were taken last Thursday at the Kwangbok street shopping center, North Korea’s first (and therefore finest) supermarket. Add your captions in the comments — unless it’s too soon for you.

Photo One captions:
1. “Here’s what you do. You paint an X on each one, boom, you got an X-Box.”
2. “How do the naked capitalist ladies fit inside?”
3. “With one of these in every home, my friend requests are going to be ridiculous.”

Photo Two captions:
1. “2, 3, 4 . . . No, no, no! You’re all coming in too soon! First comes the high kick, THEN the spin, then the hip hop booty shake, and then the big finish with Jazz hands. And smiles, people. SMILES!”
2. “Psst. How long do we stand here before one of us tells him that the staircase is no longer moving?”
3. “You know I could descend on a cloud if I wanted. I choose not to.”
