I’m not a big one for the whole April Fool’s thing where blogs post, like, the complete opposite of what they usually post, especially when it’s done by trying-(but-failing)-to-be-funny corporate media or major political parties, but one company that seems to get April Fools Day right is Google.
Here are a few of their gags from this year.
Here Google rolls out the next generation in advertising: Google Blimp Ads.
Rethink the way you target
With Blimp Ads, you can target your audience in exciting new ways. Specify the height and location of the blimp, as well as the time you want the ad to run. You can even target special events like football games, outdoor concerts, meteor showers, and more!
And here’s a video for the rollout of Gmail Motion, a new way to answer your email.
And if you’re a font geek, go to Google today and search Helvetica.
[Props=thanks to the übergeek crowd at ImprovBoston for these]
